Horse Killer to appear in Court Again

'Horse-killers' to repear in Somerset West Magistrates Court 2nd June 2010

The five youths appeared in the Somerset West Magistrate's Court last week Thursday for stealing a retired cart horse and brutually killing it. They made a bridle out of barbed wire and rode the horse, when the horse could no longer walk they then stabbed the horse in the sides and stomach until it died.

There were a number of protesters that are horrified that these youths could be so cruel and demonstrated outside the court. The youths were not asked to plead and the case was postponed to 2 June 2010.
