“ A recipe for success : ­ It's all about the P's”

After more than 20 years experience in the events management industry (including events & conference management at the National Botanical Institute, Kirstenbosch and the Robben Island Museum), MD Alison Barnard formed her own company. African Kaleidoscope Events (AKE), established in 2003, is an event planning company and specialises in Government, Corporate Tourism related events. Alison successfully managed to grow the company to where it is today. She has a real passion for projects and events of an environmental and tourism nature and this is evident in the quality of her work. She recently won the City of Cape Town's Women In Tourism Award for Event Management in the Category - Tourism Services and was also a semi-finalist for the national ETEYA Award competition. She will be speaking to us on the recipe success in businesses.
