82 Year Old Murdered in Somerset West

Gardner Wanted In Connection With Murder:

Somerset West police are looking for a Zimbabwean national in connection with the murder of his 82-year-old employer Roy Henry Stanton.

Roy Henry Stanton was assaulted and strangled, allegedly by his gardener, at his home at The Links over the weekend.

The suspect, known as Douglas, then attacked Stanton’s wife - seriously injuring her.
The police’s Susan Jantjies said they were investigating charges of murder and assault.
“If anyone maybe has any information or know the whereabouts where we can find the suspect, it will be appreciated if they can contact the Somerset West Police Station and the investigating officer is Inspector Hannes Niemand.”
