Why CJ’s on the Square?
CJ’s is situated in the Helderberg Village Walk in Somerset West and has been operating for the last 11 years, the last 6 under the personal watch of Cecily who soon enters her 7th year in Somerset West. Loosely dubbed the place “Where Strangers become Friends”, you have to experience the warmth and friendliness of Cecily and her able team, the ambiance, good food and vibe only once, and you too become a friend.
You can get a good cup of coffee early in the morning before work and get a meal from 7am. Breakfast is served all day and CJ’s has an extensive menu to select from to satisfy your tastebuds and a full liquor license.
Approximately every 2nd month a music evening is held at CJ’s which features the 5pc Jazz band Sugar and Spice which specializes in old-style, gentle jazz.
Operating hours are from 7am – 5pm on weekdays and 7:30am – 1:30 on a Saturday. CJ’s is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Favourite Coffee Shops 
CJ's Coffee Shop, is located in Helderberg Village Walk, Main Road Somerset West. It is my favourite coffee shop, the service is always outstanding and the staff are always very cheerful. The ladies wear different colours depending on the day of the week. This was taken on Friday, which is yellow, Monday's are blue, Wednesday's Pink and in between days the girls wear black.One always knows what day of the week it is at CJ's!
