Cross on top of Gordon's Bay Mountain

This photo was taken by Ian Anderson, of Somerset West. This cross is on the top of the Danie Miller Trail in Gordon's Bay. If anyone knows who erected this cross or the history of this cross please share it with us.

    Id like to visit this cross aswell :-) Any tips on achieving this?
    Maybe folk at the Steenbras dam can shed some light upon the erection of this cross...
