FRESHSTOP IS HELDERBERG PROUD AS IT OPENS ITS 3^RD STORE IN SOMERSET WEST

Somerset West in the Western Cape has welcomed its 3^rd FreshStop at Caltex forecourt convenience store with the opening of the 146^th FreshStop store at 87 Victoria Street in Somerset West on 7 November.  Cobus Mostert, the store retailer, has been operational on this site since 2003.  In 2006, he opened a non-branded c-store, and now, seven years later, he has upgraded and renovated the entire site. 

On the fuel forecourt, new pumps have been installed and the latest Caltex 20/20 imagery aligns the site with word-class retail. “We spent a lot of time preparing the site for converting the previously non-branded store to a new, fresh and modern FreshStop store. And we are very happy to say that our customers have been overwhelmed with the new look,” says Cobus.

For the convenience of local residents and commuters, the product range has been extended quite significantly and now includes a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh sandwiches and wraps, a Lavazza coffee offering and doughnuts served by Nobantu Nogude, who claims to be the world’s number one employee as she continues to assist customers and knows most of them by name.

 Cobus is assisted by his daughter Chanli Mostert and his dynamic operational team made up of Rita Matyeni, Chris Henn and Samantha Landman. “After 10 years of being here, we are looking forward to this new beginning and this exciting new challenge.  We are determined to make Somerset West FreshStop at Caltex country,” adds Cobus.
