Somerset 1 - Superhero Party in Aid of Reece
About 6 months ago, a young couple Ashliegh and Stuart moved to Gordon's Bay to start a new life in our beautiful surrounds. Ashliegh who is a hairdresser started her own business The Back Street Barber in Gordon's Bay. Little did they know how their lives would be rocked when Reece was diagnosed with cancer. He had a tumor attached to his spine and his aorta the diagnoses was a death sentence. The Somerset 1 community rallied around the family and tried as Ashleigh could no longer operate her business going backwards and forwards to take Reece for intense treatment.
Since, there has been a miracle after the Somerset 1 community held a prayer meeting for him! The tumor has beyond expectation of the medical team simply vanished!
Somerset 1 will now be partying in celebration in true Somerset 1 style! The DJ for the evening is South Africa's top retro 80's DJ Aidian Harper aka DJ Squeek. The last party Somerset 1 held was for Hospice and there were almost 400 people there of all ages from 18 to 70! This was the party in Somerset West this year!
Come dressed as a want to be superhero or comes as you are anything goes as long as you attend!
