There was an armed robbery in Somerset West last night at the Total Garage..waiting for more info. The Helderberg Info Blog wishes the Vetus Schola members and the family of armed response officer Joulies - who has just lost his life in the line of duty. More info to follow shortly!

One of the HCW / VSB armed patrollers (“Jowan Julies”, a new Patroller taken on recently) was murdered last night (Friday) in Somerset West (Lourensford Rd) – knifed in the neck , as he exited his car answering a callout– SAP looking for suspect.
Our sympathies go out to Vetus Schola and the family of Jowan


The suspect has been arrested and will appear in court shortly....
